Film Club

Welcome to Film Club

Film club provides an excellent opportunity to encourage creative minds by sharing opinions, cultures and information. This fun club can help improve our literacy skills. Discussing the films and writing reviews on the national website all contribute to our development.

Film Club, run by Miss B, is held in The Hive each Wednesday starting at 3.15pm and ending at 4.20pm. Pupils gather on the carpet with a snack and drink to view the film members have selected.

Each term new and past members can join but you need to be quick as the 20 places fill up very quickly!

As a member of Carr Junior School Film Club, pupils also belong to the National Film Club where they can review films we have watched, select films and join in the Film Club community.

Members can post a review on the Film Club website about  any film they have watched. For each review then can add their name into the draw. At the end of term the draw is held where pupils can win a selection of prizes. The more reviews... the more chances to win!
There is an additional prize for Reviewer of the term.

Miss B makes The Hive computer available at lunchtime for those members who wish to complete their reviews in school.
