Friends of Carr

Friends of Carr (FOCS)

FOCS raises funds to enhance the children’s school experience, in ways that the school budget could not stretch to. This has included funding activities such as trips, funding for Christmas events, school resources and play equipment. But Friends of Carr is not just about fundraising, it’s also a great way to get to know other parents and have a bit of fun along the way! Our meetings are usually held at the local pub regularly.

What do you get out of it?

Becoming involved in the Friends of Carr is a great way to get more involved with the school. You can help raise funds which directly benefit your child’s education.

What we need from you…
  • Please support the events that are held during the year. There are lots of events held during the year, some for children, some for parents and some for the whole family. Please come along, help raise funds for the school and meet some new people.
  • Give a little time. There are always lots of things to do such as helping at the Discos and Fairs! If you would like to help out either on a regular or adhoc basis, please let us know.
  • Come along to the Friends Meetings. The meetings provide a great opportunity to find out what the Friends of Carr are doing and have your say in what is being planned.
  • Extend relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the schools.

Thank you to all parents and carers for your continued support. If you would like to get involved, you can contact one of the committee members at friendsofcarrschools@yahoo.com
